In English language there are 5 vowels:-

A,e,I,o,u

The sound which is emitted when we say a word with a vowel is called a vowel sound.

Eg:Beat

The vowels “ea” are in the middle.When we say Beat the sound in the middle is “ee” which is a vowel sound.
