What is ACT?

Administered by an organization of the same name, ACT measures knowledge, understanding and skills that you acquired in your school. The exam lasts for 3 hours and 35 minutes. It consists of 4 sections—English, Mathematics, Reading and Science, and one optional Essay section. Final score is an average of 4 sections and is reported on a scale of 1-36.The ACT is a computer-based standardized test that is required to be taken by applicants who are interested in seeking admission to colleges in the United States.
