Understanding Intonation

When we speak we sound very dull because of lack of intonation and rhythm in our speech.

Intonation is the combination of pitch,tone,volume and inflection in our voice.

Pitch-The shrillness of the voice is called pitch.

Tone-Refers to the attitude with which we speak.It reflects our inner thoughts.

Volume-is the increase and decrease in sound nInflection-The change in meaning of a sentence when we stress on different words.
