Every sound of every language is within every child but as we grow we get enveloped in our comfort zones and stop listening to different sounds.Phonetics teaches us how to use our sounds right and hence develop a neutralized accent which is far from regional.
Things to remember:
Until you learn the correct English slow down your speech. It is more important that everything you say is understood.
Use your dictionary. Make a list of frequently used words that are difficult for you to pronounce and verify how a native speaker pronounces them.
Record yourself reading some sections of a book
Pronounce the endings of each word. Pay special stress to “s” and “ed” endings.
Read aloud in English 15-20 minutes everyday.
Be Patient-You can change the way you speak but it won’t happen overnight!
Speak with more energy and enthusiasm.
Change your body language
